Pickled cucumbers can be used in a variety of dishes, such as:
Snack cucumbers in horseradish. They are served as an appetiser with alcohol, pair well with meat and fish dishes, and can also be used as a salad addition.
Pickled cucumber sauce for fried carp. To prepare, peel the cucumbers, cut them lengthwise into quarters, and slice thinly. Then finely chop the onion, cut the dill stems into thin rings, and finely chop the leaves. Then combine the onion, cucumbers, dill, and creamed horseradish, season with pepper, and refrigerate until ready to use.
Sour cream sauce with cucumbers and horseradish. To prepare, combine horseradish, pickled cucumber, sour cream, and green onions.
Sauerkraut salad with pickles and carrots. You’ll need horseradish, pickles, sugar, vegetable oil, cabbage, carrots, and onions.
