Canned green peas “Kubanochka” are prepared from brain varieties by sterilization. The product is rich in proteins, fibre, phosphorus, calcium and iron. The brain variety has a delicate taste and contains less starch with an increased proportion of vitamins A, B1, B2 and C. For the manufacture, small top-grade peas of the same size, grown in the Krasnodar Territory, were taken, and water, salt and sugar were added. Metal hermetic packaging is easy to use, easy and quick to open without additional tools. Canned peas are suitable for salads, appetizers, omelettes, and soups; they can be an independent dish combined with butter and mayonnaise.
