Essentuki No. 17-natural medicinal sodium chloride-bicarbonate, boric drinking mineral water of medium mineralization (10.0-14.0 g/l). The main source is wells No. 17 bis, 36 bis, 46 of the Yessentuki Deposit of Caucasian Mineral Waters, in the resort town of Yessentuki, Stavropol territory[1]. In total, the resort operates 5 springs of the “Essentuki # 17” type[2]. In addition, in 1989, the largest drinking gallery in the country was built on the territory of Yessentuki, designed for 5,000 visits per day. Among others, the gallery receives water directly from the source “Essentuki # 17” from wells belonging to the Essentuki and Beshtaugorsky fields[3]. Under the supervision of specialists, some of the mineral waters of the balneological resort are poured into glass containers at factories in the city of Essentuki.

Mineral water is drunk slowly, in small SIPS, starting from 100 ml with a gradual increase in volume to 200-250 ml.
