Russian pryanik or honeybread have been made since the 9th century, originally with rye flour, honey, and berry juice. Through time recipe was enhanced and modern pryanik usually has berry or fruit filling or even condensed milk (kid’s and sweet tooth’s favorite!), and glazing on top. Absolutely essential choice of sweets for tea party!
